Looking for a volunteer for creating LinkedIn profile of BGSA!
Hey all!
I am looking for a volunteer familiar with LinkedIn to figure out how we can use this platform to connect BGSA alumni and current BGSA members. I still have yet to create an account, but I think this will be useful to use in addition to our recently created BGSA Alumni Facebook Group. So let me know if you would be interested in helping BGSA members network!
For those of you who are not a part of the group yet, I created a BGSA Alumni Group on Facebook to help connect alumni as well as current BGSA members. This will help us know what our fellow BGSA members go on to do, and help members network! If you haven’t joined yet or know alumni to invite, check out the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1731377413748940/?ref=bookmarks I believe people should be allowed to request to join the group, but let me know if you have trouble accessing it.

Celebrate Darwin's Birthday this Friday!
Hey BGSA,
It was an amazing winter retreat! Thanks to the organizers, food leaders, and everyone participated! Don’t forget to check out the photos and lost-found via emails and dropbox.
Our monthly coffee hour will return this Wednesday. There will be FREE COFFEE AND TIMBITS. So grab your lab mates and supervisors and come on down anytime between 10-11 on Wednesday!
Also, it is Charles Darwin’s birthday this Friday! So to celebrate, we will be gathering in the basement of Thomson House (not the main room though, the room on the right), just to hang out and drink to a pivotal historical figure! There will be cake.

Biology General Assembly!
Hey BGSA,
The Biology General Assembly is scheduled for Friday 29 January 2016 at 1:30 pm in room W4/12. Our General Assembly was on Jan 27th Wednesday.
Also, if you have some reading or writing that needs doing but you’re having trouble finding the motivation, join us for weekly reading/writing nights in the BGSA room every Tuesday! That way we can feel sad together. There’s free coffee and tea available!
